  4. Narrative Writing – In this writing, the main focus is on the idea of storytelling. This type of writing can be in the genre of “Fiction” or “Non-Fiction”. It usually contains a plot, characters, setting, dialogue, action. Most narrative writing has a sequence – beginning, middle, and end. As in descriptive writing, the narration is from the viewpoint of the writer or from the viewpoint of one of the characters in the narration.
