Fifty Fifty is book #5 in the Eddie Flynn series and an edge of your seat thriller with many twists and turns

Two sisters on trial for murder. Both accuse each other.
Who do YOU believe?

Alexandra Avellino has just found her father’s mutilated body and needs the police right away. She believes her sister killed him, and that she is still in the house with a knife.

Sofia Avellino has just found her father’s mutilated body and needs the police right away. She believes her sister, Alexandra did it, and that she is still in the house, locked in the bathroom.

Both women are to go on trial at the same time. A joint trial in front of one jury.

But one of these women is lying. One of them is a murderer. Sitting in a jail cell, about to go on trial with her sister for murder, you might think that this is the last place she expected to be.

You’d be wrong.

Duffy’s Thoughts on Fifty Fifty

With everything going on in the world lately, I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump, not wanting to pick up a book, and even lacking the energy to watch much on Netflix. The world is topsy turvy at the moment!

However, Fifty Fifty gave me back my bookworm mojo! We follow Eddie Flynn (who I crush hard) as an ex-conman turned lawyer who gets to work one of the biggest murder cases to rock NYC.

Two sisters, both accusing the other of murdering their father and each page you turn reveals a tiny clue or a big plot twist. I love the format of the chapters (you’ll see what I mean) which adds to the intrigue in true Gone Girl style and there was definitely nailbiting tension and twists that made me audibly gasp.

If Joe Goldberg had a sister…

Absolutely loved it and although this is an excellent stand-alone novel, I cannot wait to read the rest of the Eddie Flynn series!

If you love thrillers like Gone Girl, Anatomy Of A Scandal and The Silent Patient, you’ll love Fifty Fifty
