About the author of Emergence

Dr. Shira Shiloah received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed her Anesthesiology residency at Northwestern University.

Her debut novel, “EMERGENCE,” is a romantic medical thriller that follows a neurosurgeon who intentionally maims and kills his patients and the doctor who is determined to stop him – no matter what the cost. Shira lived in Brooklyn, Jerusalem, Chicago and Washington D.C., before choosing Memphis as her hometown. She enjoys travelling the world with her husband and long walks with her rescue pup.
