Love In A Sunburnt Land – An anthology of Australian romance
Love In A Sunburnt Land was inspired by the poem by Dorothea MacKellar, My Country. Each author took a line (with permission) from the poem and based their story setting around that. For example, I am sweeping plains and that became the setting for my story. It was such a great idea and fun to write.
Love in a Sunburnt Land will take you on a journey from the tropical coast to the fertile plains and magnificent high country, where quick thinking and endurance is a way of life and where second chance love might happen, right when it’s least expected.

Duffy’s Thoughts on Love In A Sunburnt Land
I love anything by Leanne Lovegrove, so when she approached me, I graciously accepted the chance to read and review Love In A Sunburnt Land. It’s a fantastic collection of rural Australian romances and each story holds up against the next. Each author delivers a carefully crafted story and a cast of well crafted Australian characters.
If you want to support female Australian authors and enjoy rural Australian romance, this fantastic collection of stories for the price of a cup of coffee really is worth the purchase.
Thank you, Duffy. So glad you enjoyed our stories. Best wishes, Louise
