Duffy’s Book Round-Up For 2019!

How many books did you read in 2019? Which was your favourite?

Can’t believe I hit nearly a book a week whilst working full-time and managing a part-time copywriting gig.
My top 3? Well, it’s pretty hard out of some fantastic reads, particularly in non-fiction this year, so I have to have four, in no particular order:-

Nobody’s Victim by Carrie Goldberg

Platform Seven by Louise Doughty

The Wailing Woman by Maria Lewis

The Rip by Mark Brandi

It’s soooo good!
I have Platform Seven still on my TBR so I’m glad to see it made your top list for 2019.
Yeah, I really found the non-fiction choices were strong and interesting this year!
I liked Nobody’s Victim a lot too, which I read on your recommendation. I haven’t gotten to The Rip yet. I find picking favourites impossible, even though I rated half a dozen or so books 5 stars I’m not sure anything stands out particularly
Yeah, I really loved the non-fiction reads this year!
I notice a few people included The Rip on their list, but I didn’t actually read it. I tend to only read what I get for review so missed that one, though I’d read his previous book!
A friend of mine actually commented on the fact she’d thought the fiction offerings this year weren’t great but she loved the non-fiction releases.
